Last Thursday, 11th April, Country Club Huapai hosted its inaugural Village Alive Twilight Market. Despite a bit of bad luck with the weather, we brought the market indoors for a cozy, fun-filled evening. Huge shoutout to our amazing stall holders and dedicated team for making this event a success for the community.

One of our wonderful residents Colin Stonelake along with village some helpers arranged a Karaoke Evening Fundraiser for NZ Prostate Cancer Foundation which was held here last Saturday, the 23rd of September.
It was a fantastic evening with a great turnout, and this week the Prostate Cancer Foundation awarded him and Country Club Huapai with a certificate thanking him for raising $1085.00 for the charity.
Last night Country Club Huapai held a Mid Winter Christmas Dinner. It was a wonderful, fun night for both residents and staff.
The night started in the bar with glasses of champagne and antipasti, just a warm-up to the night ahead! At 6pm we moved to the restaurant, beautifully decorated with a Mid-Winter Christmas theme. Residents enjoyed a lovely meal and a fantastic entertainer who played good old classics that both residents and staff could not help but boogie the night away.

The social committee led by Lee Pearson arranged a fantastic Pink Ribbon Afternoon Tea on Sunday. They made it a bring-a-plate event and was a great turnout.
In total, they raised an awesome $1400 to go towards Breast Cancer Foundation NZ 💟
A huge thank you to Lee and everyone who helped make this great event happen!
Celebrating 100 members at Country Club Huapai!
What a special event and a huge turnout. It was a lovely afternoon and it was great to hear from Ian Boocock from Cabra and Leigh Hopper from Hopper Developments. We were also treated by the kids from Huapai District School, they proudly presented their ideas on what they’d each be doing when they reached 100 years old.

The 1st of December and beginning of the festive season was celebrated at the Country Club last night with joyful singing and bright lights. The residents enjoyed an outdoor sing-a-long and the building Christmas lights were turned on to welcome the season. The Country Club members have all joined the festive spirit by decorating their homes, doors and patios, the competition has been fierce for the best dressed home. The building will be lit up for the entire month and although public cannot enter the village under the current Covid restrictions, many of the lights can be seen from afar. The Country Club is planning this to become an annual tradition and each year will add to the decorations and lights, spreading a little Christmas magic in the Huapai community.
Auckland is currently at level 3.2 and on Thursday 2 December 2021 at 11.59pm all of New Zealand will move to the traffic light settings. Auckland will move into Red.
Under level 3 and red settings all visitors must make an appointment to view our facilities and showhomes. We require all visitors to be double vaccinated, scan and complete a health declaration upon arrival and wear a mask while onsite.

As at 11.59pm Tuesday the 17th of August, New Zealand is going into level 4 lockdown for 3 days, Auckland and Coromandel will be in level 4 for 7 days. Following this announcement Country Club Huapai will be following the Level 4 lockdown procedure.
The village will be closed to visitors and all community activities will not be operating. We appreciate your understanding at this time and ask that you abide by the level 4 guidelines click here

Our lovely resident adorably called “Gaga” by her sweet Grandchildren shares a little on her experience here at the Country Club. Jules moved up from the Kapiti Coast to be closer to family and enjoy a more carefree & relaxed retirement lifestyle. So wonderful to see the positive impact the move has made and be able to video this great moment. Thanks Jules and family for sharing.
